Description
Built originally in 1883 and rebuilt in 2000 after being destroyed by an ice jam. The Hayward covered bridge (also known as the Mill or Noble covered bridge) spans the First Branch of White River just north of the town of Tunbridge in east central Vermont. It is immediately downstream from the dam which diverts water to the historic Hayward and Kibby Mill which was a combined grist and sawmill and dates to 1820.
