A serene stone interior is illuminated by a cross-shaped window at the end of the hall, casting a soft glow on the arched openings along the walls. The wooden ceiling contrasts with the stony arches and walls, creating a historic and spiritual atmosphere. Gravensteen Castle (also known as the Castle of the Counts) in Ghent, Belgium. The castle was built in 1180 as the residence of the Counts of Flanders.
